First Job?
After eating, we went to Watson where I bought a few stuff and proceeded to the arcade where he played drums. Ooo, reminds me of Joey. Of course, not that JJ reminds me of him...We went to the interview place and JJ nearly forgot where was the place. I threatened to smack him and finally he found it.
The security guards there were extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome. Bravo for them! I filled in the application form and I'm so glad JJ was there because I was clueless about some things and he kept saying that I was stupid as I wrote my number on the (H) and also wrote 'Mother' on the name section. He went on and on about how the person is going to call and say, "Hello? Mother?".
Finally, we met Joshua and we chatted about the employment. I didn't want to get a job that requires me to work on the Sabbath day and it's definitely God's doing that I ended up with a stock-taking job that falls on weekdays instead of the cashier job at Expo that falls on weekdays and weekends. Thank God! I knew He would show me the way. But there would be a day which I have to work overnight.
JJ wanted to go back and play arcade and I narrowed my eyes at him and started my nagging. LOL. Seriously, if I hang out with him any further, I would turn into an old hag. He didn't get to play the drums and went to play another game similar to the drums but he suck at it. LOL
I went home while he went out. I reached and told Mum about the job and she was unhappy about the overnight work. It's bad for my health. When dad reached home, I told him about the job and he was a little unhappy about it as well. He made sure that I wasn't underpaid and said that it would take two days for my body to "recover" from this "sleepless" night. And you know what? I totally agree with him...
Ever wonder what I have for dinner? Well, this is one of them. Might not look appetizing in this photo as I didn't take it in an "appetizing" way. Haha. Simple dinner that consist of white rice mixed with brown rice, fried egg, steamed chicken wings and potatoes. Yep, that's what I eat. I want to take pictures of these because I want to remember each meal mum cooks for us!
Man, it took really long to get these posts done. Argh! To think that I'd planned to read my novel before I sleep. To think that I'm able to do so many things before I go to sleep...Sigh...

another sunday...
Slept till 11am??!! I've wasted half of the day...Argh...Played computer games and took pictures.
In the afternoon, Mum and I took the MRT train ride to EXPO and it was pretty far, not to mention at the city stations, it was packed, plus an Indian man stood so close behind me that he was smelling my hair. Wished I haven't wash my hair for days and let him smell. Plus he's reeked of alcohol! Saw this Caucasian guy who looked like Wayne Rooney but much better looking. Wait. Since when Wayne Rooney is good looking?
Waited for dad at the station and went to Changi Country Club and watched Dom played bowling with his team. In his team, there was this young boy who should be in primary school. All right. He is in primary school as Dom is in sec 1 and the boy couldn't be older than him. He could hold a bowling ball pretty high back and it makes me wonder. Perhaps slim guys with surprisingly great strength is kinda...cool? I don't know how to explain that but imagine if your boyfriend is of slim build and he carries you as though you weigh a feather, it's...surprising.
Anyway, took this picture at the club. It's pretty dark as I don't know how to adjust the functions of the camera.
Went to have dinner at Changi Village and there were lots of cats sunbathing on the walkway. They were oblivious to everything around them plus children stood so close to them and they did not move an inch. Lazy kitties! Or contented kitties?
Man, the hawker centre there seriously needs a renovation for ventilation. As I entered the hawker centre, smoke stinged my throat and nose and it's hard to breathe. I kept choking and seriously needed fresh air...
Went to the petrol kiosk to meet Gramps before heading back home.

finally watched it...
The guys went out early as Dom has a bowling training? Or competition? Man, I don't know. Anyway, I was feeling unwell and ate a little. I made myself comfortable on the mattress, being admist of the pillows of different sizes and read the novel before deciding to watch 'the other boleyn girl'. Somehow, the movie made me lose interest in guys...And make me doubt 'true love'. I've witnessed love between couples but there would always be one question: Would it last?
Watched 'Ever After' as well. Hmm...what can I say? It's worth the $6.95? *rolling eyes*
Anyway, got ready to go to church and dad drove us all to church. Attended Mass and in the morning, there was a particular hymn that played in my head and it was the song for the opening hymn as well. Coincidence? Most likely.
These were taken from the new camera, which dad bought it on Thursday. The camera is slim and I'm trying to get use to it. I still love the old camera...We went to Clementi to have our dinner before heading home.

teachers' day celebration
In the morning, went to buy breakfast for mum and I. Went to meet Gwen and Zihui and we headed to 163. We spotted Sutsiam, Ernest, Nicholas and Cheemun. Gwen and Zihui ate while I drew the last pages of Mr Ong's card. After they finished eating their food, they helped out as well. Carina came and Huilin and her friend sat with us. Weihao and Douglas sat at another table.
We head to school and met Singyin and Colvin. Was happy to see Singyin and hugged her and made as though I was going to hug Colvin as well. LOL. At the entrance, saw Domanic. It's good that he didn't see us or it's a great embarrassment since he and his pals sat behind us when we watched a movie. Too much a coincidence...Were they stalking us? LOL! That's a joke...Like they would ever. Heck it, they don't even know we exist.
We slacked in the canteen since the principal announced that the teachers were having lunch...Met Jiamin, Chomelle, Emily and Iris in the canteen and went to talk to Jiamin about employment. Carina and I went to the toilet and saw that it's horribly painted and what's with the '3E2' on the wall? They own it?
After a while, we went up and met Mrs Yap and then Mr Ong. We asked him if he knew our names and he pointed at Gwen, saying that he knew who she was and leaned in to me and whispered loudly, "Pussy." All of us burst out laughing like manics. We hogged him for a very long time, chatting and he couldn't remember Carina's and my names. It's all right. At least he can remembers our pretty faces. LOL Saw Shuan too and he's fringe grew long and man, his voice is different from when I last heard. He so owes me a movie...Mr Ong went to call out Mr Yong and we gave him the card and he went, "Wa!" because Gwen "destroyed" her face by drawing a -.- face with black ink. We chatted about SJAB uniforms and how newcomers do not have to pay for the uniforms! UNFAIR! We spent about $80 on the full uniforms and they don't! Argh...I asked if he wants my 'boots' and he heard as 'books', which I heard as 'boobs'. Funny how things sound that way. Plus I narrowed my eyes at his chest. LOL Next, Mdm Su and Mdm Yam came out and Mdm Su acted as though she wanted to smack Douglas. LOL Turns out she's not all a harridan I believe she was.
Went to the bus interchange after that and decided not to watch 'Wall-e'. Carina, Gwen and I went to BPP to slack and we saw Salihah. I ate toast and eggs and a cup of milo while Carina and Gwen chatted about travels. We went to the library and I borrowed one book, which turns out that I borrowed before but, oh well. I will re-read it again for the fun of it.
While heading to Cafe Cartel, I saw Carina's friend and told Carina and we went up the escalator again and Carina waved hi to him while Gwen and I waited for her. Either her friend or she made a move towards each other, so we went down. Saw Gwen's friend and I exclaimed, "Jiahui! Your boyfriend!" We were served by MingHui and after making orders, Gwen and Carina went to the toilet while I waited. MingHui came up to me and asked me what 'strawberry' means and I said it's the flavour of the ice-cream. He asked in Mandarin and it sounded funny as though he was demanding.
Carina went to meet Weeseng and after Gwen finishes her food, we went to MrBean where I need to get some food for mum. While heading there, we saw Faizal and man, he's toned. Looks entirely different from before it's amazing...Chatted with him, flattering him with compliments before we headed on.
At the bus interchange, I spotted Eugene and I said, "That looks like Eugene." He was a little unsure of what to say to us, after all, I've not talk to him since sec 2? Man, he looks utterly handsome with his hot army bod, tanned and broad. Didn't know what to say except gaping at his changed look. In the end, I asked him where he's studying.
We took a LRT ride back and saw AhToot and Douglas at the basketball court. Gwen said to take the ride back and our view was impeded by trees...Gwen spotted Hanqiang too. We went back home and I was glad that tomorrow is not the interview but Monday.

final preparation
In the morning, I went to the market to buy some groceries as mum's gonna cook soup for dinner.
Went to the MRT station with kor to meet dad and we went to the warehouse to buy our running shoes which cost a pretty sum but it's worthwhile though the pattern is common. 
Dad sent kor to the bus stop as he was going out while dad sent me home. When I went home, mum was horrified that I bought the wrong kind of a certain veggie and old potatoes in the morning. I was dreadfully disappointed and upset. Mum tried to make light of the matter but I just couldn't stop feeling upset. But I cheered up later when I knew that the veggie was all right and that the potatoes were still half edible and thanks to the fact that I bought bigger ones...Whew...Learnt something from there as well. A lifelong lesson on how to buy potatoes. LOL But I still couldn't differentiate vegetables...
Went to meet Zihui at YT and she went to a shop to remove facial hair. We went up to buy our lunch and helped Gwen to buy her drink and food as well. We walked to her house and ate our lunch at her house. We finished Eddy's card and I finished Yong's card next before brainstorming on Mr Ong's card. Zihui went off early and I continued colouring and cutting.
Gwen's parents came home early and Gwen wanted to buy otahs and we went out. Saw a really icky creepy-crawly on the wall with these long fine hairs sticking out of its body. I didn't want to get any of those on my skin as, through mum's kampong stories, I'm pretty sure those were the ones would make your skin itch like hell when touched. But that stupid Gwen used a stick and prodded it before it crawled onto the stick. She asked me to take a picture of it and I was so frightened that she would throw it at me when she panicked.
She left it on a plant and we went to get her otah before heading back and saw that the icky bug ate half of the leaf away, looking oh-so contented. Could hear it crunching away the leaves of the poor plant.
A few minutes after we've reached her house, her tutor came and I sat at the side and did Mr Ong's card before I finally went home with a pounding headache and it got worse in the night.
